First team

Chase Smallwood, Sherando


The junior batted .438 with two home runs, nine doubles and four triples and 34 RBIs. Smallwood was a first team all-Northwestern District, all-Region II and all-Group AA pick.

Justin Angel, Sherando


The senior hit .400 with a home run, 10 doubles, 22 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Angel was a first team all-Northwestern District and all-Region II pick, second team all-Group AA.

Jacob Carney, Sherando


The senior hit .443 with a home run, 12 doubles, four triples, 27 RBIs, 34 runs and 15 steals. Carney was a first team all-Region II and all-Northwestern District selection.

Neil Dutton, R-MA


The senior hit .460 with two home runs, eight doubles, 23 RBIs, 24 runs and 19 steals. Dutton, the DAC Player of the Year, also finished with a 4-2 record and a 2.14 ERA as a pitcher.

Tyler Hott, Strasburg


The senior batted .455 with a home run, seven doubles, two triples, 25 RBIs, 21 runs scored and five steals. Hott was a second team all-Bull Run District selection.

Colton Harlow, Stonewall Jackson


The junior hit .373 with four doubles, nine RBIs, 15 runs and seven steals. Harlow struck out 70 batters in 49 1/3 innings pitched. He was a first team all-Shenandoah District pick.

Nick Helmick, Skyline


The senior hit .456 with a home run, three triples, 12 RBIs and 15 runs scored. Helmick was a first team all-Northwestern District selection and a second team all-Region II pick.

Adam Whitacre, Sherando


The sophomore hit .308 with a home run, six doubles, three triples, 16 RBIs, 28 runs and nine steals. Whitacre was a second team all-Northwestern District selection.

Ian Baker, Strasburg

Designated Hitter

The junior finished with a .359 batting average while recording three doubles, 17 RBIs, 17 runs scored and five steals. Baker was a second team all-Bull Run District selection.

Reid Entsminger, Sherando


The junior was 8-0 with a 0.53 ERA in 53 innings pitched and hit .417 with two homers and 25 RBIs. He was the Northwestern District POY, first team all-Region II, second team all-Group AA.

Hayden Bauserman, Central


The junior had a 5-1 record with a 2.21 ERA and 60 strikeouts in 44 1/3 innings pitched. He also batted .351 with 19 RBIs. Bauserman was a first team all-Bull Run District selection.

John Bentley, Sherando


The senior was 10-0 with a 0.58 ERA and 84 strikeouts in 60 innings pitched. Bentley was a first team all-Region II selection and a first team all-Northwestern District pick.
