WINCHESTER -- Shenandoah University has started its 2013 football season ticket drive with a limited number of tickets available.
The Hornets, under the direction of new head coach Scott Yoder, open the 2013 campaign at home on Sept. 7 at 7 p.m. with a non-league game against Gallaudet University.
This will be the squad's lone home game in the first month of the season. SU returns to the Sprint Field at Shentel Stadium turf on Oct. 5 with another 7 p.m. contest, this one the Old Dominion Athletic Conference opener against Bridgewater.
Yoder's club also hosts Catholic on Oct. 19, Emory and Henry on Nov. 9 and Washington and Lee on Nov. 16. Those ODAC Games all start at 1 p.m.
The Catholic game is part of homecoming weekend in which the department will host volleyball, men's soccer and women's field hockey Oct. 16 through Oct. 19.
The alumni lacrosse games will round out homecoming weekend on Oct. 20.

Until Aug.1, season tickets will be $40 per seat. This is a 33 percent savings off the per game price.
Season tickets will be $50 per ticket after Aug. 1 and reserved seats for individual games may be purchased in the week preceding that home game for $12/ticket.
