MEDIA, Pa. — Christendom College went into Friday night’s game with Williamson Free Trade having not allowed a goal, while outscoring their opponents by 18 goals though their first three games.
The Crusaders showed Williamson that those statistics were anything but a fluke as they raced to a 6-0 halftime lead on their way to an 8-0 victory in Friday night’s action on the Williamson campus.
Johnny Foeckler scored four goals for Christendom and Sean Salmon added two to lead the Crusaders, who now have outscored opponents 26-0 in their first four games.
They outshot Williamson 26-5 on the night and added nine corner kicks to none for the Mechanics. Brad Staden had eight first-half saves for Williamson, while freshman Aaron Marr played the second half and added 10 saves.
