Prep roundup: Falcons roll past Cougars

WOODSTOCK -- Central dominated from start to finish to notch its first Bull Run District volleyball win of the season on Tuesday in a 3-0 (25-9, 25-13, 25-9) victory over Manassas Park.

Rebecca Truban led the Falcons (2-6, 1-5 Bull Run) with 20 digs, and 10 service points in the second set. Caelyn Moylan had seven kills, and Katelyn Foltz had 13 service points in the third set.

"I'm happy with how we played," Central coach Christy Barb said. "We were really consistent.'

Stuarts Draft 3, Stonewall Jackson 1
QUICKSBURG -- The Generals came up short in Shenandoah District action in a 25-14, 26-28, 25-22, 25-19 loss to Stuarts Draft.

Ali Singleton had 13 kills to lead the Generals, while Elizabeth Moomaw added 17 assists and nine service points.

LURAY -- Colton Harlow shot a 36 to lead the Generals to a tri-meet victory at Luray Caverns Country Club.

Andrew Good shot a 37, while Kory Sumers had a 40 and Ben Rosenberger a 41 for the Generals.
