WINCHESTER – The Shenandoah University baseball and softball teams have announced the following schedule changes for this weekend.

The softball team will now play at home this weekend, hosting Stevenson on Saturday at 2 and Frostburg State Sunday at 1.

Both days are doubleheaders.

Baseball will also play a pair of doubleheaders this weekend.

Coach Kevin Anderson’s club hosts Roanoke on Saturday at noon in its ODAC opener. This is an unchanged event.

Sunday’s baseball game versus Gallaudet has been moved up by one hour to a noon start. Following this game, SU will host Penn State – Altoona in a non-league contest to give the Hornets a second doubleheader this weekend.

All four baseball games will be nine innings in length.

The PSU-Altoona game was originally scheduled for Monday, but moved to Sunday in an effort to beat the expected snowstorm Monday.

The men’s lacrosse game versus Hood scheduled for 1 p.m. and the women’s lacrosse game at 4 are unchanged.
