First team

Alesha Adams, Warren County

The senior forward/gurad helped lead the Wildcats to a third-place finish in the Bull Run District and a 14-10 record. Adams was named second team All-3A East region and first team All-Conference 28.

Mikala Alsberry, Strasburg

The senior averaged 10.6 points and 7.8 rebounds to lead the Rams to a 13-12 record this season. Alsberry was named first team All-Bull Run District. She led the area with a 52.6 percent field goal percentage.

Jess Hakel, Sherando

The junior averaged 12.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.4 steals and 2.3 assists per game for the Warriors. Hakel shot 48.9 percent from the field, and was a first-team All-Northwestern District selection.

Katelyn Poston, Central

The senior averaged an area-best 19.6 points per game. She set the school record for career points (1,656 points), and led Central to the Class 3A state semifinals. Poston was the Conference 28 Player of the Year.

Sam Yarnall, SVCA

The sophomore averaged 15.0 points and an area-best 8.3 rebounds per game. Yarnall led SVCA to the VACA title, and averaged 4.2 steals per game. She also shot 42.3 percent from the field for the Patriots.
