Daily Staff Report - sports@nvdaily.com

BALTIMORE -- After knocking off then-No. 5 Loyola (Md.) 8-7 on Saturday, the James Madison University women's lacrosse entered the Inside Lacrosse Brine Media Poll at No. 20.

The Dukes came back from a 5-1 deficit to defeat Loyola (Md.) 8-7 and move to a 3-1 overall record. They boast wins over Virginia Tech (14-11) and Jacksonville (16-15, 2OT), and their lone loss came at then-No. 7 Florida 21-8.

Madison is also earning votes in the fourth installment of the 2014 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll. Lacrosse Magazine also tabbed the Dukes as its No. 20 team in the nation this week.

JMU hosts No. 9/9 Penn State (2-2) on Wednesday at 4 p.m. at University Park. The game will be broadcast on MadiZONE HD SportsNet, presented by the JMU Alumni Association.
