SU roundup: Paul named ODAC’s baseball player of the week

FOREST — Shenandoah University junior Michael Paul has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Player of the Week for baseball in selections announced Monday afternoon by the league office.

Paul, the squad’s third baseman, hit .524 for the week with 11 hits in 21 at-bats as SU also earned its first national ranking of the season.

This is the second straight week that Paul has been named ODAC PoW.

In addition to his 11 hits, Paul drove in eight runs and had his fourth home run of the season.

Paul now has a 22-game hitting streak dating back to the start of the 2013 ODAC Tournament.
