DELAWARE, Ohio -- Junior Jaclyn Mohlmann begins her quest for an NCAA National Championship tomorrow with the kickoff of the heptathlon competition at the championship meet hosted by Ohio Wesleyan.
Mohlmann, who has now qualified for the national championships in both indoor and outdoor track and field, has the 14th best score in the nation this season in the two-day, seven-event competition.
The top eight finishers earn All-America status.
Mohlmann's 4,518 best score, set last week on this same George Gauthier Track, is 192 points from the eighth place position.
The competition begins at noon with the 100-meter hurdles. She will also compete in the high jump, shot put and 200-meter dash.
On Friday, Mohlmann finishes with the long jump, javelin and 800m.
