NEW ORLEANS -- Shenandoah University rising senior Jaclyn Mohlmann and the Hornets' women's track & field program have been honored by the USTFCCCA for academic achievement in selections announced Tuesday by the organization.
Mohlmann was named as a USTFCCCA Scholar-Athlete while also being a member of a women's program that earned All-Academic team honors.
All student-athletes competing at either the NCAA Indoor or Outdoor National Championships with GPAs of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale were eligible for the individual award.
The USTFCCCA recognized all teams achieving at least a 3.1 average GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Mohlmann has a 3.46 GPA following her first year in the MBA program.
The 15-woman track & field program had a 3.22 average GPA this past year. That squad was one of 12 (of 20) at SU to achieve at least a 3.0 GPA.
