WINCHESTER -- Shenandoah head men's lacrosse coach Tim Marshall announced Thursday the addition of six student-athletes into his program for the 2015 season.
Marshall, who is beginning his second year as the fourth head coach in program history, has added five freshmen and one transfer into the program for the upcoming year.
That transfer, Colton Fisher, had eight goals and two assists in 11 games last spring for Northern Virginia Community College.
Fisher is a midfielder who played high school lacrosse at Robinson Secondary in Fairfax County.
Fisher is also one of three Virginia natives in the class.
Thomas Graziano and Jacob Williams are both from the Richmond area, with Graziano graduating from Trinity Episcopal and Williams from Hanover.
Sam Gerhart, a defenseman, and attackman Justin Hines are both from Maryland while defenseman Sean Heisler is a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania native.
Gerhart played at Severna Park H.S. and Hines at Howard H.S.
"I am incredibly excited to welcome this talented group to our program," Marshall stated in a news release. "These are young men of great character who are a great fit for Shenandoah University and we expect them to challenge and push our returning players."
Marshall's club begins its non-traditional season in late September and has its competition day at the end of October.
