Christendom roundup: Crusaders earn volleyball road sweep

TAKOMA PARK, Md. — Visiting Christendom College rolled to a 3-0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-21) volleyball victory over host Washington Adventist on Wednesday.

Clare Duda had a strong all-around match for the Crusaders, leading the team with eight kills, 13 assists and 15 digs. She added two service aces.

Bridget McMahon added four kills, six digs two assists and two aces, and Mary Solitario also had four kills along with a team-high six service aces, seven digs and an assist. Angela Townsend chipped in four kills, six digs, two aces and two assists, Adrienne Willard had two kills and three aces, and Elizabeth Slaten talled four kills and an assist for Christendom.

Adriana Mitchell had six kills to lead the Lady Shock.
