2015 Girls Tennis All-Area team

First Team

Jayme Goode, Warren County

The junior led the Wildcats to a regional berth. She also advanced to regionals in singles and in doubles with teammate Alyssa Pauley. Goode was the Conference 28 runner-up in singles.

Abigale Lukens, Sherando

The junior led a young squad to a 14-4 record. She split time at both No. 1 and No. 2 singles, and played at No. 1 doubles. Lukens guided the Warriors to the No. 2 seed in the Conference 21 tourney.

Pearl Moore, Warren County

The sophomore moved from No. 6 singles last year to No. 2 this year. She helped lead the Wildcats to a perfect 10-0 record during the regular season and a Region 3A East berth.

Abigail Sears, Sherando

The sophomore split time with Abigale Lukens at No. 1 during the season, and finished the year at No. 1. She also helped lead the Warriors to the Conference 21 semifinals.

Alisa van de Crommert, Sherando

The junior gave the Warriors a spark this season, leading them to a 14-4 record. Sherando pushed state semifinalist Handley to two tough matches, the Warriors’ only district losses this season.

Kaylee Venable, Skyline

The sophomore led the Hawks to an 8-8 record. Venable advanced to the Conference 28 semifinals in singles, losing a hard-fought match to Warren County’s Jayme Goode.
