Old Dominion 100-Mile Race results

Olivier LeBlond of Arlington successfully defended his championship during the past weekend’s 36th Old Dominion 100-Mile Race held in southern Shenandoah County.

LeBlond clocked a winning time of 16 hours, 45.50 minutes to win the overall championship. Berryville’s Brad Hinton was second, followed by Amos Desjardins of Alexandria in third.

Alexandria’s Kathleen Cusick, who finished fourth overall in 19:06.44, was the fastest women’s finisher. Springfield’s Megan Stegemiller (ninth overall) was the second woman to cross the finish line, followed by Alexandria’s Lara Zoeller (11th overall).

A total of 23 runners completed the 100-mile course in less than 24 hours and 38 finished before the cut-off time of under 28 hours. With 58 runners starting the race, the 38 finishers represented a completion rate of 65 percent.
