SU roundup: Bauserman helps Hornets improve to 2-0

ROCKY MOUNT – Shenandoah’s football team improved to 2-0 for the first time in program history.

The Hornets knocked off Ferrum College 42-27 on Saturday. The game was played at Franklin County High School due to construction on Ferrum’s football field.

SU freshman quarterback and Central graduate Hayden Bauserman threw for 290 yards and four touchdowns on 16-for-19 passing. His final touchdown was a 59-yard pass to Sherando graduate Jalen Brisco, who finished with five receptions for 134 yards and two touchdowns.

SU running back Cedrick Delaney finished with 238 yards in total offense. Shenandoah finished with 481 yards in total offense.
