The following are some of the area recreational events that are being held:
Dr. Mark Cucuzella, a professor at West Virginia University School of Medicine and a competitive runner, will hold a running clinic from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the System Support Building at Winchester Medical Center, 220 Campus Blvd., Winchester.
The clinic will provide information on improving your running form for injury prevention and performance, how to build an aerobic base for life, nutrition for overall health, reversal of prediabetes and diabetes, and how to increase mobility and strength with age.

The Warrior 5K Color Run will be held April 23 around Sherando High School and Sherando Park. Registration, which ends April 15, is $25 for the Color Run and $10 for the fun run.
Shenandoah Valley Runners will hold the Champions4Children 5K at 9 a.m. April 23 at Greenwood Mill Elementary School, 281 Channing Drive, Winchester.
The event also includes a kids mile and kids dash.

Move for Life
Move for Life, an annual fundraiser for AVA Care of Harrisonburg (formerly known as Harrisonburg Pregnancy Center) will be held at 9:30 a.m. April 23 at Back Home on the Farm, 2915 Willow Run Road, Harrisonburg.
Walkers, runners and children can participate. Entry fee is a $50 donation.
