Rachel Sirbaugh, Skyline

Catcher

The freshman batted .413 with 22 RBIs and 26 runs scored while leading the area in doubles (10). Sirbaugh was a Group 3A all-state second team selection.

Makaela Dawkins, Skyline

Infield

The senior shortstop batted .435 with four home runs, nine doubles and four triples and led the area with 26 RBIs. Dawkins was a Group 3A all-state first team selection.

Natasha Grayson, Skyline

Infield

The sophomore first baseman batted .353 with four home runs, three doubles, 19 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Grayson was a second team all-Conference 28 selection.

Lexi Schlag, Sherando

Infield

The senior third baseman batted .412 with two home runs, six doubles, 12 RBIs and 20 runs scored. Schlag was a first team all-Conference 21 West selection.

Carey Scott, Strasburg

Infield

The senior batted .469 and led the area in triples (6), runs scored (27) and stolen bases (31). Scott was a first team all-Conference 35 and all-Bull Run District selection.

River Baird, Sherando

Outfield

The freshman led the area with a .481 batting average while hitting three home runs and nine doubles with 20 RBIs. Baird was a second team all-Conference 21 West pick.

Dani Edmonds, Sherando

Outfield

The senior was second in the area in batting average (.470) and stolen bases (17) and scored 17 runs. Edmonds was a first team all-Conference 21 West selection.

Alexis Grim, Skyline

Outfield

The sophomore batted .273 with two home runs and 15 RBIs. Grim was a second team all-Region 3A East selection and a first team all-Conference 28 pick.

Tori Seymour, Sherando

Designated player

The sophomore batted .415 and led the area with five home runs. Seymour also had six doubles and four triples while driving in 20 RBIs and scoring 24 runs.

Cortney McDonald, Strasburg

Utility

The junior batted .339 with three home runs and four triples and tied for second in the area with 24 RBIs. McDonald was a first team all-Conference 35 and all-Bull Run District pick.

Bekah Ansbro, Central

Pitcher

The senior went 18-5 with a 0.67 ERA and an area-high 289 strikeouts in 178.2 innings. Ansbro was a Group 2A all-state first team pick and Bull Run District Player of the Year.

Tamara Grayson, Skyline

Pitcher

The sophomore went 14-5 with a 1.57 ERA and 104 strikeouts in 120.2 innings. Grayson was a second team all-Region 3A East selection and a first team all-Conference 28 pick.

Lisa Rhodes, Central

Coach

In her fourth season with Central, Rhodes led the Falcons to their VHSL Group 2A state championship game appearance. Central went 22-5 and won the Conference 35 title.
