The Strasburg Midget Football League will hold its last youth football registration day for the 2016 season from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Town office. Cost is $60 per player with age divisions available for grades K-7. Information: 540-331-7100.
The Flying Circus Air Show is held every Sunday through October at 5114 Ritchie Road, Bealeton.

The Blue Ridge Young Marines will host a no tap bowling tournament from 2 to 5 p.m. July 23 at the Front Royal Family Bowling Center, 430 Remount Road, Front Royal.
There will be bowling ball raffles, 50/50 drawings, silent auction items and more. The entrance fee for four bowlers per team is $25 per person or $100 per team. Entrance fee includes three games and shoe rentals.

The Frederick County Fair will be held July 25-30 at the fairgrounds in Clear Brook.
The fair features a demolition derby, monster trucks, beauty pageants, live bluegrass music, truck and tractor pull, go-kart racing, carnival and rides, livestock shows, barbecue dinners, petting zoos and more. The fairgrounds are off the Interstate 81 exit 316 on state Route 11 North.
The Shen Valley All Stars 15-under team is advancing to the state tournament after defeating the Augusta Babe Ruth All Stars in District 4 games July 8-9.
The Shen Valley All Stars is composed of the best league players from teams of the Greater Luray Babe Ruth Baseball League. It had eight league teams this year: three teams in Luray, one in New Market and four teams in Mount Crawford. There were over 100 players registered ages 13 to 18.
The New Market team is coached by Christopher Harmon. Area players on the team includes Tyler Dellinger ,of Stonewall Jackson High School, and Cameron Harmon and Justin Day, both of Strasburg High School.
