Prep roundup: Generals fall to Parry McCluer

Stonewall Jackson High School’s football team fell to 0-3 on the season with a 47-0 loss to Parry McCluer on Friday night.

“We didn’t play very good at all,” Stonewall Jackson coach Jay Goode said. “They’re a very good team. They had a good running back. We’ve just got to get back at it and get better.”

The Yellow Jackets picked up their first win of the season on Friday night. They pulled out a road victory over St. Anne’s-Belfield.

R-MA (1-1) plays at Hargrave Military Academy on Sept. 23.
