Monday, April 28, 2008 Wildcats walk past Panthers in baseballDaily Staff Report FRONT ROYAL Warren County was opportunistic on offense taking advantage of five walks to pull out a 7-4 nondistrict baseball win over Rappahannock County on Saturday. The Wildcats had only four hits in the game. Jon Nicholson went 1-for-2 with two walks and a two-run double to lead the Wildcats (3-10, 2-7 Northwestern). Shawn Brown went 1-for-3 with a run scored and Thomas Tudor was 1-for-2 with an RBI double for Warren County. Will Hoffmaster added a double for the Wildcats. Nicholson also picked up the win on the mound and had seven strikeouts. |
