*Ashley Ebersole, Central — The second team All-Region II catcher hit .329 for the Falcons this season. She was also second in the area with three home runs.

First baseman

*Danielle Walls, Handley — The junior led the Judges with a .426 batting average. Walls also had 11 RBIs.

Second baseman

*Lauren McCabe, Clarke County — McCabe was a second-team All-Bull Run District selection. She led the Eagles with a .417 batting average.

Third baseman

*Laura Rose Bishop, Central — Bishop finished with a .345 batting average. The first-team All-Northwestern District selection scored 13 runs and had 10 RBIs.

Shortstop

*Cassidy Weitman, Strasburg — The senior led the Rams with a .400 batting average. The second-team All-Bull Run District selection had 14 RBIs and scored 16.

Outfielders

*Casey Ferrell, Millbrook — The senior hit .455 and scored 21 runs to pace the Pioneers to a Region II berth. Ferrell also had 19 stolen bases and seven doubles.

*Jaclyn Ayers, Strasburg — The sophomore led the area with 27 steals. The first-team all-Bull Run District selection also hit .345 with nine RBIs.

*Ashley Nichols, James Wood — The first-team All-Northwestern District selection hit .339 for the Colonels this season.

Utility

*Shiela Armel, James Wood — The shortstop led the area with 10 doubles this season. Armel hit .393, scored 19 runs and had 12 RBIs.

Pitchers

*Nicole Daily, Millbrook — The senior led the area with 188 strikeouts, and at the plate had an area-best .468 batting average and 27 RBIs.

*Brea Hinegardner, Central — The sophomore had 108 strikeouts to lead the Falcons to a third-place finish in the Northwestern District. Hinegardner also led the area with six homers.
