Warriors still on track to reach goals

By Hunter Taylor — Sherando football player

This week started just as any other. Like I say every week we are still one family with one heartbeat. And that heart is beating faster than ever for our game this week against the Central Falcons.

This week is Homecoming week in Stephens City, with the bonfire and parade, but nothing can knock us off our path to our final goals.

This is week 1 for the Sherando Warriors even though it's our fifth game. And the march for 212 has became a dead sprint. Perfection is what we demand and we wont stop until we are two miles past it.

We have became even closer as a family and that much closer to our goals. We all know we only have five more weeks guarenteed together and we are soaking up ever second of it. We are having fun each and every snap we get together and that's all that matters.

For the seniors it's just a ticking time bomb and our younger brothers are starting to notice this. They have stoped playing for the fans and have started to play for us —the seniors — and for the family. And thats what's gonna take us to our goals.

No matter what happens this week, whether we win big or go down swinging, we will still and forever be one one family with one heartbeat.

Sorry, but you must have been at a different volleyball game - There were plenty of Wilson Memorial fans there....
