Usually those are words that excite many women around the country. Many women can't wait to go out and shop all day and night, running up their credit card bills and having a girls day out.
GETTYSBURG, Pa. - No. 2 Randolph-Macon used a fast start Friday night to key an 84-62 victory over future ODAC foe Shenandoah in the opening round of the 20th Annual Days Inn Gettysburg Tip-off Tournament.

WINCHESTER -- When Corey Giffing played outside linebacker at North East High School (Md.), his coaches typically saved film sessions for those rainy days when the school's practice field turned to a muddy, sloppy mess.

Left with few alternatives, Giffing had only one approach to high school football: "I was just kinda the guy that would run around, trying to get to the football," Giffing said.

WINCHESTER -- As Sarah Moomau and her parents were headed to look at Longwood University, she had a bad feeling about it. The Handley girls tennis standout didn't think there was any way this school would be the right one for her.
