The sophomore batted .387 with two home runs, four doubles, two triples, 14 RBIs and 14 runs scored. Sirbaugh was a second team All-Conference 28 selection as a designated player.

The freshman shortstop hit .383 with seven doubles, four triples, 19 RBIs and 10 runs scored. Benson was a first team All-Conference 28 selection and a second team All-Region 3A East pick.

Infield

The sophomore first baseman led the area with 32 RBIs and batted .400 with two homers, eight doubles and 15 runs scored. Keener was a first team All-Bull Run District pick and second team All-Conference 28.

The junior batted .375, was top five in the area in home runs (five), doubles (10) and RBIs (23) and tied for the area lead with 25 runs scored. Seymour was a first team All-Conference 21 West selection.

The senior shortstop led the area with a .477 batting average and finished with three home runs, 10 doubles, 14 RBIs and 21 runs scored. Waldron was a second team All-Bull Run District pick.

Taylor Bowers, Strasburg

Outfield

The freshman batted .382 – the Rams’ second-best mark – with five doubles, a triple, 13 RBIs, 20 RBIs and six stolen bases. Bowers was a first team All-Conference 35 selection.

Outfield

The freshman hit .414 and led the area with 11 doubles. She also had two triples, 15 RBIs, 21 runs scored and eight steals. Conner was a first team All-Conference 21 West selection.

Jessica Sims, Skyline

Outfield

The senior led the Hawks in batting average (.402), doubles (8), RBIs (24) and runs scored (15). Sims was a first team All-Conference 28 selection and second team All-Region 3A East.

Taylor Bowers

Macie Clerkley, Warren County

Designated player

The junior was second in the area with a .462 batting average and finished with a homer, nine doubles and 15 RBIs. Clerkley was a second team All-Conference 28 and All-Bull Run District pick.

Kaitlyn Capps, Strasburg

Utility

The freshman ranked second in the area with 26 RBIs and was fourth with a .433 batting average. She also had five doubles and 14 runs scored. Capps was a first team All-Bull Run District pick.

Tamara Grayson, Skyline

Pitcher

The junior led the area in wins (18) and strikeouts (201) and posted a 1.71 ERA in 171 innings. She also was the area leader in homers (8). Grayson was a second team VHSL Group 3A all-state selection.

Kristina Stead, Central

Pitcher

The junior led the area with a 1.30 ERA and posted a 9-5 record with 124 strikeouts in 97 innings. Stead, who also batted .321 with 15 RBIs, was a second team All-Bull Run District selection.

John Ritter, Skyline

Coach

In his second season as the Hawks’ head coach, Ritter led Skyline to a school record 20 wins, a Conference 28 tournament championship and an appearance in the Region 3A East semifinals.
