The Town of Luray will offer night catfishing until midnight today at Lake Arrowhead, 265 Lake Arrowhead Road, Luray. Fishing permits are required and are available for ages 16 and older at the Parks and Recreation Department, 540-743-6475.
The Royals Rumble car show, featuring cars, hot rods, motorcycles and race cars, will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Royal Plaza Shopping Center, 413 South St., Front Royal. Information: 540-283-1142.
Shenandoah Valley Runners will hold its annual Run for the Ribbon race, in honor of James McClure, who lost his battle to prostate cancer at age 59, at 8 a.m. Saturday at Chet Hobert Park, 225 Al Smith Circle, Berryville.

Antique truck show
The annual Tri-State Antique Truck Show is being held through Saturday at the Frederick County Fairgrounds in Winchester.
Explore night sky
The Shenandoah Astronomical Society will set up telescopes to view the night sky from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the State Arboretum at Blandy Farm in Boyce.

The annual Blue Ridge Mountain Mudurance 5K mud and obstacle race will be held starting at 9 a.m. Sept. 30 at the Ralph H. Dean Recreation Park, 625 Sixth St., Luray.
Walk for Life
The Front Royal Pregnancy Center will host its annual Walk for Life fundraiser starting at 9 a.m. Sept. 30 at 11 S. Royal Ave.
Featured will be music, face painting and refreshments. The walk will begin at 10 a.m.
