FRONT ROYAL -- For the last six years, girls tennis hasn't been a strong sport in Warren County. However, on Thursday Warren County and Skyline showcased just how far both programs have come.
FRONT ROYAL -- When rivals Warren County and Skyline high schools get together on the softball diamond, there's a good chance the game's going to be close and low-scoring.
FRONT ROYAL -- The Warren County Wildcats boys tennis team took the short ride to Skyline and swept their cross-county rival, the Skyline Hawks, 9-0, in a non-district match on Thursday afternoon.

WINCHESTER -- The Skyline Hawks had the unenviable task of playing the unbeaten Millbrook Pioneers in Friday's semifinal round of the Northwestern District girls basketball tournament.
WINCHESTER -- After a disappointing first half, Skyline came alive in the third quarter to upend Sherando 75-68 on Thursday in the opening round of the Northwestern District girls basketball tournament at Millbrook High School.
