While many in the area get excited over the Apple Blossom Festival, I can guarantee that I am not one of them. However, I do get excited knowing that it's Festival week, because that means the spring playoffs will soon be here.

At least that was the feeling Strasburg boys basketball coach Millson French had Friday night after his Rams had to fight off a Stonewall Jackson team that has gone two years since it last won a game.
