WINCHESTER -- The Shenandoah University women's basketball team used a strong shooting performance to down Hood College 80-51 in a non-league contest Sunday night. Shenandoah (2-3) snaps a three-game losing streak with the win over the Blazers (4-1) and shot a season-best 53 percent from the field in the process. The 80 points scored is also a season-best, with coach Michelle Guyant-Holloway's club earning free chicken wings for the 209 in attendance due to an athletic department promotion. comments
