Wildcats outlast struggling Falcons in low-scoring affair

FRONT ROYAL – Warren County High School’s girls basketball shot less than 27 percent from the floor in Friday night’s Bull Run District game against visiting Central. The Wildcats turned the ball over 22 times. They made just 4 of 21 free throw attempts. And they won.

Estep, Falcons run away from Wildcats

FRONT ROYAL – Warren County High School senior Cam Ford celebrated scoring his 1,000th career point against Central, but it was Luke Estep and the visiting Falcons who did most of the scoring in Friday night’s Bull Run District boys basketball game.

FRONT ROYAL – Warren County High School’s girls basketball team made it a point of emphasis to attack William Monroe’s Samantha Brunelle in an attempt to get the sophomore in foul trouble when the two teams met on Tuesday evening. It worked – for a half.
