THE PLAINS — Central did not have any all-state runners to stand on the podium Saturday for the boys Group 2A cross country awards. However, they got up on the podium for an even bigger reason — a second-place team trophy.

BERRYVILLE – Clarke County’s leading rusher Hunter Rogers was out last week with an ankle injury. Saying he was running Friday night on a joint that was about “80 percent healthy,” the Eagle junior said he decided to go downhill.
