WINCHESTER — City construction will affect the traffic pattern at intersections along Pleasant Valley Road and Jubal Early Drive starting Monday, officials said.

According to a press release issued this week, the city's contractor will be installing handicap-accessible ramps and sidewalks at each intersection. Construction is expected to last 60 days.

Intersections that will be affected include those at Millwood Avenue, the Kmart Shopping Center, Featherbed Lane, Apple Blossom Corners, Adams Drive, Jubal Early Drive and Apple Blossom Drive.

During construction, traffic may be reduced to one lane in each direction. Construction will occur between the hours of 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Fridays.
