Guns stolen in Toms Brook still missing one month later
An undisclosed number of guns were reported stolen from Shenandoah Sporting Goods on Old Valley Pike in Toms Brook, on Sept. 16. Nearly a month later, the Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office says the guns are still missing.
The Sheriff’s Office has published security footage from the gun store robbery on the agency’s Facebook page.
“There are two individuals seen on the video that were inside the store,” said Sgt. G. R. Poe, of the Sheriff’s Office. “Obviously there may be more that may be involved … So we’re looking for at least two.”
The video shows two individuals entering the store. They appear to take items from behind the counter and exit less than a minute after they entered.
Shenandoah Sporting Goods declined to comment on this story.
The Sheriff’s Office ask anyone with information on the robbery or who can help identify the intruders to contact Investigator Paul Taylor at 459-6100.
