Police Blotter: Shenandoah County

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

Jan. 11: Deputies charged a 17-year-old juvenile with destruction of property and possession of a knife on school property. Court date set for 11:30 a.m. Feb. 15 in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

Jan. 12: Property damage reported. Unknown person(s) damaged a school bus and bathroom on Ram Drive, Strasburg. Investigation continues.

Jan. 15: Breaking and entering reported. Unknown person(s) entered residence, causing damage to a door, and removed a firearm on Rose Bud Court, Edinburg. Investigation continues.

Jan. 15: Breaking and entering reported. Unknown person(s) entered a church causing damage and removed U.S. currency. Investigation continues.

Jan. 16: Larceny reported. Unknown person(s) removed a book and U.S. currency on Headquarters Road, Edinburg. Investigation continues.

Jan. 18: Devin Tyler Davis, of Woodstock, was charged with contributing to delinquency of a minor. Court date set for 9 a.m. Feb. 16 in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

Jan. 18: Allen R. Hensley II, of Strasburg, was charged with perjury. Court date set for 9 a.m. Friday in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Jan. 19: Larceny reported. Unknown person(s) removed two firearms from residence on River Road, New Market. Investigation continues.

Jan. 19: Property damage reported. Unknown person(s) damaged a water fountain and wall on Piccadilly Street in Edinburg. Investigation continues.

Jan. 19: Brennon Lee Villacarlos, of Edinburg, was charged with possession of marijuana. Court date set for 9 a.m. Feb. 16 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Jan. 21: Jonathan Paul Bailey, of Edinburg, was charged with child endangerment, three counts of attempted malicious wounding and appearing drunk in public. Court dates set for 2 p.m. Jan. 16 in Shenandoah County General District Court, and 9 a.m. Feb. 22 in Shenandoah County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court.

Jan. 21: Memekia Tiruwork Desta of Moorfield, West Virginia, was charged with assault and battery. Court date set for 2 p.m. March 16 in Shenandoah County General District Court.
