5:58 -- We're ready for another big weekend of high school football. There's already a buzz in the air in Strasburg as the field is named after former coach Glenn Proctor tonight. There's even a band playing on the streets in the middle of town. It should be a great night. I will do my best to keep things updated throughout the evening.
7:42 -- Sherando is up 14-0 at the end of the first quarter. James Wood leads Warren County, 7-0, early in the first quarter.
8:09 -- Skyline leads Kettle Run 14-3 at the half. Cliff Woodard has touchdown runs of 1 and 6 yards for the Hawks. Both touchdowns came off of Kettle Run turnovers.
8:15 -- Millbrook leads 17-7 at the half over Fauquier.
8:27 -- The Clarke County express keeps rolling. The Eagles lead Central 29-0 with two minutes left in the first half. Sherando leads Jefferson County 21-7 at the half.
9:11 -- Sam and Zach Shiley have combined for 5 of the 6 touchdowns as Clarke County leads 41-0 over Central in the third quarter. Strasburg leads by two scores at the half over Page County.
10:12 -- Several finals have rolled in. Millbrook won 31-20. Skyline won 33-3 and James Wood won 41-21. Brock Lockhart had another 253 yards rushing and is now just 40 yards shy of 1,000 yards in just four games. At last report Strasburg was up 21-0 and Sherando was up 28-7.
