Millbrook 18, Kettle Run 15, OT 10:16: The last final is in: Clarke County 42-0 over Cumberland. Be sure to check out Saturday's Northern Va. Daily for all the stories. 10:13: More finals are in: Millbrook beat Kettle Run 18-15 in OT. Strasburg beat Stonewall 23-22. Central beat George Mason 28-14. 9:55: Another final: James Wood beats Brentsville, 40-7. 9:43: Strasburg now leads 23-22 with 3:47 left in the game. 9:38: Millbrook and Kettle Run are headed to overtime tied at 15. 9:30: Millbrook has tied Kettle Run, 15-15 in the fourth quarter. George Mason has cut Central's lead to 28-14 with 7:46 left in the game. In a non-local game, Briar Woods upset Broad Run. 20-13. I'm not sure that's really an upset. I have seen Briar Woods and they are pretty good and they are young. 9:23: We have our first final. Liberty beat Skyline 43-7. Stonewall leads Strasburg 22-20 with 2:21 left in the third quarter. 9:17: Stonewall's now winning 22-14 in the third quarter. Central is up 28-7 with 1:03 left in the third quarter. 9:04: Strasburg has tied the game 14-14 in the third quarter. 8:42: John Michael-Pirtle has thrown for 65 yards for Stonewall Jackson. He has two completions, he had only four all season before this game. Also, James Wood leads 13-7 over Brentsville at the half. 8:33: Liberty leads Skyline 36-0 at the half. 8:28: Daniel Bauserman just scored his second TD of the night on a 23-yard pass from Matt Sherfey with 43 seconds left in the half. Central leads 21-7. 8:27: Stonewall Jackson leads 14-6 at the half. 8:19: Kettle Run leads 15-7 at the half over Millbrook. Central leads George Mason 14-7 with 4:48 left in the first half. 8:06: Stonewall Jackson now leads 14-3 over Strasburg with 5:43 left in the first half. Liberty is crushing Skyline 27-0 in the second quarter. Kettle Run leads Millbrook 9-7 in the second quarter. 8:02: Central leads 14-0 in the second quarter over George Mason. Daniel Bauserman returned a punt 68 yards for a TD. Also, Matt Sherfey threw a 37-yard TD pass to Kolton Poston with 10:07 left in the second. 7:52: Stonewall leads Strasburg, 6-3, at the end of the first quarter. 7:51: Mik661, Warren County plays at Handley tomorrow at 1 p.m. It should be a great game. 7:46: Stonewall leads Strasburg, 6-3, with 2:05 left in the first quarter. 7:41: Liberty is up 14-0 on Skyline in the first quarter. Kettle Run leads Millbrook 9-0. In another interesting game, Briar Woods is ahead of two-time defending state champion Broad Run, 14-7, in the second quarter. 7:16: If Central wins tonight they will have to do it without wide receiver Sean Semones. The area's leading receiver is in street clothes tonight. 5:09: We have 6 games on tap tonight. There should be a lot of close games.
