Career Changer Program at LFCC

The Office of Workforce Solutions at Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) is offering
new career opportunity information sessions Aug. 9 at the Middletown campus in the Corron Community Development Center.

The day session is 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The evening session is 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Career Changer Program is a series of accelerated training classes which earn industry skills and credentials for jobs in high-demand industries.

The session will provide information on six Career Changer Programs:

• Wastewater Treatment


• Administrative Office Technology


• Becoming a Veterinary Assistant


• Green Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning (HVAC)


• Electronic Health Records


• Becoming a Teacher

Also offered will be sessions on reemployment tips and techniques such as marketing yourself, resume writing, and finding the hidden job market. These sessions are free and open to the public. More information: www.LFCCworkforce.com
