'Managing your money' classes available

"Managing Your Money" series, presented by the Virginia Co-Operative Extension Office in Woodtsock, is designed to help participants take control of their personal finances.

The five-lesson series has a flexible format, with the option of taking the classes on a monthly basis or a weekly basis. Participants can attend classes in any order at any location.

Anyone who has attended all of the five sessions, in any combination of weekly or monthly classes, will receive a certificate of completion. Session 6, on Getting Out of Debt, is optional. The cost for the entire series is $6, which can be waived by receiving a scholarship voucher from a participating community services agency.

Participants MUST register at least three days in advance, as classes with fewer than 5 people will be canceled.
