No one was injured after box truck overturned on John Marshall Highway just west of Clary Road in Strasburg on Wednesday afternoon. According to Shenandoah County Sheriff's Office deputy Robert Taylor, Isaiah Thomas, 31, of Washington, D.C., was westbound when his 2017 Freightliner M2 ran off the right shoulder of the road and into a dip. Thomas then over-corrected, causing the truck to overturn on its side. Taylor said the truck, which was hauling twine and plastic packaging, was a total loss. Thomas was charged with reckless driving following the 1:40 p.m. incident. The road was closed for several hours as crews offloaded the truck’s content before removing the truck from the scene.
