Police Blotter: Shenandoah County

The Shenandoah County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents:

Aug. 22: A 16-year-old was charged with disorderly conduct. Court date is 2:45 p.m. Sept. 11 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Aug. 27: A 17-year-old was charged with assault and battery. Court date is 11:30 a.m. Sept. 27 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Aug. 29: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged an ATV on North Mountain Road, Timberville.

Sept. 2: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged the golf course on Resort Drive/Harmon Road, Basye.

Sept. 3: A larceny was reported. Someone removed wiring and tools on Railroad Avenue, Edinburg.

Sept. 4: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a bench on Alum Springs Road, Basye.

Sept. 4: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a purse with contents on Kadies Lane, Edinburg.

Sept. 4: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle and removed miscellaneous tools on Crooked Run Road, Basye.

Sept. 5: James E. Darden Jr., of Woodstock, was charged with assault and battery. Court date is 9 a.m. Sept. 28 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Sept. 6: Chantell Marie Wright, of Shenandoah, was charged with possession of methamphetamine. Court date is 2 p.m. Oct. 12 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Sept. 6: A destruction of property was reported. Someone damaged a vehicle on Hillcrest Drive, Toms Brook.

Sept. 6: William Ralph Hanna Jr., of Toms Brook, was charged with domestic assault and battery (third-plus offense). Court date is 9 a.m. Oct. 4 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.

Sept. 7: Patrick R. Mullaney, of Stephens City, was charged with reckless driving and hit and run. Court date is 11 a.m. Sept. 21 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Sept. 8: Andrew Stephen Porter, of Earlysville, was charged with obstruction of justice, interfering with property rights of another, trespassing, underage possession of alcohol and appearing drunk in public. Court date is 11 a.m. Sept. 28 in Shenandoah County General District Court.

Sept. 8: A larceny was reported. Someone removed a power washer, step ladder and other items from a residence on Doral Drive, Maurertown.

Sept. 9: An auto larceny was reported. Someone removed a vehicle on Jewell Lane, Edinburg.

Sept. 9: Travis Eugene Arbogast, of Edinburg, was charged with violating a protective order. Court date is 11 a.m. Oct. 11 in Shenandoah County Juvenile & Domestic Relations Court.
