Ethan Asher, Strasburg
The freshman won a Class 2 state championship and claimed titles at the Bull Run District and Region 2B tournaments. Asher went 45-1 in his first varsity season, the area’s best record.
Keagan Judd, Sherando
The freshman was a Class 4 state champion and won individual titles at the Class 4 Northwestern District and Region 4C tournaments. Judd posted a record of 33-2 with 15 pins this winter.
Aidan Ward, Warren County
The senior placed third at the Region 3B tournament and finished in sixth place at the Class 3 state championships. Ward, a three-time state qualifier, had a 36-17 record and 27 pins this season.
Tyler Davis, Skyline
The junior won his third straight Region 3B tournament championship and was a Class 3 state runner-up. Davis, a three-time state medalist and two-time runner-up, was 48-7 with 30 pins.
Peyton Stickles, Strasburg
The senior overcame a shoulder injury to win a Class 2 state championship. Stickles also won titles at the Bull Run District and Region 2B tournaments and ended the season with a 30-1 record.
Morgan Robinson, Skyline
The senior won a Region 3B tournament title for the first time and placed third at the Class 3 state tournament. Robinson, the Hawks’ all-time leader in career wins and pins, was 49-4 with 31 pins.
Heath Rudolph, Sherando
The junior was a runner-up at the Northwestern District and Region 4C championships and placed fifth at the Class 4 state tournament for the second straight year. Rudolph was 36-8 with 16 pins.
Isaiah Frame, Warren County
The senior placed third at the Class 3 state tournament, the Wildcats’ highest finish, and was the Region 3B tournament runner-up. Frame, a three-time state medalist, was 42-7 with 23 pins.
Brennan Komelasky, Warren County
The junior was the Region 3B tournament runner-up and a first-time Class 3 state qualifier. Komelasky, who missed out on an everyday starting spot last season, was 37-9 with 22 pins.
Alec Campbell, Strasburg
The senior placed second in the Bull Run District and Region 2B tournaments and qualified for the Class 2 state tournament, where he went 2-2. Campbell was 29-9 between 170 and 182 pounds.
Ty Boyles, Warren County
The senior placed second in the Region 3B tournament and qualified for the Class 3 state tournament for the first time in his career. Boyles posted a 26-12 record with 20 pins this season.
Luke Jenkins, Strasburg
The senior was the runner-up at the Bull Run District and Region 2B championships and placed fifth at the Class 2 state tournament. Jenkins, a two-time state qualifier, had a record of 33-15.
Ethan Gue, Skyline
The senior won his second straight Region 3B tournament title and placed fifth at the Class 3 state tournament for the second year in a row. Gue had a 50-5 record with 36 pins.
Dathen Montoya, Skyline
The junior’s pin in the Region 3B championship finals gave the Hawks their first regional title in program history. Montoya placed fifth at the Class 3 state tournament and had a 20-9 record.
Hunter Salomon, Skyline
The freshman won a Region 3B tournament title at 106 pounds and placed second at the Class 3 state tournament. Salomon posted a 46-7 record and 30 pins in his first varsity season.
Jaylon Burks, Strasburg
The junior was the Class 2 state runner-up at 138 pounds and a Bull Run District and Region 2B tournament champion. Burks, a three-time state medalist, posted a record of 22-5 this winter.
Kyle Symons, Skyline
In his second season with the Hawks, Symons led Skyline to its first Region 3B tournament title and third place at the Class 3 state tournament, a program record. The Hawks were 23-1 in duals.
