$60 million allocation of New Markets Tax Credits.
This award provides financing for high-impact, community development projects throughout Virginia and the southeastern United States. People Incorporated was selected from among community development practitioners that competed for the NMTC in 2018. This is the sixth allocation of NMTC awarded, for a total of $209 million received since 2009.
