Topics include Google My Business listings, online advertising and email marketing. Prior to the workshop, small businesses can visit google.com/smallbusiness to create an action plan for themselves.

Civil War authorAuthor Jeff Hunt will talk about and sign copies of his books at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Warren Rifles Confederate Museum, 95 Chester St., Front Royal.
Hunt is the author of “Meade and Lee at Bristoe Station: The Problems of Command and Strategy After Gettysburg, from Brandy Station to the Buckland Races, August 1 to October 31, 1863” and “The Last Battle of the Civil War: Palmetto Ranch.”
