To all of our small business owners and leaders, the Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce is still here for you. Unfortunately, we have had to cancel our in-person April events but we want everyone to know that we are still working hard for you.
We are providing updates on COVID-19 to share all of the latest information, resources and funding assistance available. Please share your open for business information with us. We are also helping with job placements and sharing good news in our business community.
We want to hear from you. We recently conducted a survey to understand the local impact of COVID-19 to determine our best course of action to help our business community. We know that everyone has concerns about having to close down or limit your business during this pandemic.
Please continue to reach out to let us know ways we can help. We are here to advocate for our business community both locally and regionally.
With the recent order to close many businesses in our community, we want to encourage everyone to continue to support these businesses as you can. Our small businesses are some of the most critical parts of our community and now is the time to come together and show them our support. Whether it’s continuing to order food, writing a positive review, sharing their information with others, or just sending them positive words of encouragement, we know that these kinds of actions will do a lot for our local business owners.
David Hutton is chairman of the board of the Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce.
