Last week, a New York psychiatrist named Aruna Khilanani called all white people “lying psychopaths.” While I would disagree vehemently with this life outlook, what is more surreal is that this same psychiatrist once said that she wanted to “shoot all white people.” Dr. Khilianai’s website actually says that she treats “whiteness.” Most people in leadership of the Democratic Party would say that this is just the ranting of a single person and to not pay attention to these statements. However, this is part of a trend.
Let us look at what is currently occurring in Beaverton, Oregon, schools. The Beaverton School District has come out and declared itself as “white supremacist.” Beaverton, a city with approximately 99,037 people, is 73% white, 2.6% African American, 10.5% Asian and 16.3% Latino (Wikipedia numbers). It is well known that Portland, Oregon, is very white, and very liberal. Given the fact that Beaverton is a suburb of Portland, likely Beaverton is rather liberal itself. Washington County, where Beaverton is located, went for Joe Biden with 65.54% of the vote. So the Beaverton school system, which is overwhelmingly Democratic, is saying that they are all white supremacists, and this can only be fixed through getting funding to stop their being “white.”
This is crazy talk coming from the radical left, which is more and more taking over the Democratic Party. Yet it is not just about race. Chelsea Wolfe, a transgender Florida native, wanted to compete in the Olympics to burn the American flag. If Chelsea Wolfe wants to be transgender, that is the right of every American to live their life to the best of their own ability. But wanting to win a Gold medal, the ultimate in sports, to burn an American flag? That is the definition of hatred, no matter how much Wolfe may protest.
As we have discussed here before, I am one-half Afghan and one-half Scots Irish. I am Caucasian but am not a white person. I live in Shenandoah County, one of the most “white” places in Virginia. Are there racists here? Yes. Is racism a major problem? No. I could not have been elected to the Strasburg Town Council if Strasburg was a bastion of racism. Nor could I have been elected as the chairman of the 6th Congressional District Republican Party if there was overt racism in the GOP. Have I dealt with racists in the Valley? Yes. Is the Valley a racist place? ABSOLUTELY NOT! The people who voted for me for Council and District Chair could care less about the color of my skin. The people who voted against me, voted against me because of my political philosophy.
To my good friends in both Strasburg and inside the 6th District who are white — do not feel ashamed as you have never owned a slave. There is no “systemic racism” in Virginia, other than a few radical leftists who are trying to divide us against each other.
