SHS fundraisersSkyline High School’s cross-country team is holding a community service fundraiser Trash-A-Thon from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday in Front Royal.

Team members will be picking up trash and cleaning areas in town. Money raised will be used for a professional timer during cross country and track meets instead of using runner’s personal phones. Financial sponsors are needed.

Donors are asked to choose a particular road or business (within town limits), otherwise, they will choose an area they have seen through running that needs cleaning.

The team is also selling tickets to win $500 worth of hiking/adventure items. Tickets are $20. The winning ticket will be drawn Aug. 19. Information, donations: https://tinyurl.com/2p94ensh.
