Egg hunts

• Bryce Resort in Basye will host an Easter egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday for children 8 and younger and ages 9-12.

• The Church at Skyline will host a community egg hunt at 11 a.m. Saturday at Fantasy Land Park in Front Royal for ages 3-12. Also games, moon bounce, food, raffle and grab bags for the first 200 children.


The Edinburg Fire Company will hold a chicken dinner starting at 11 a.m. Sunday. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Community center

The Warren County Community Center will be closed Sunday in observance of Easter. The center will re-open at 8 a.m. Monday.


Eighteen students at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal participated in the Military School Band and Choir Festival Feb. 22-24 at the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, New Mexico. Local students participating were:

• Front Royal: Cameron Jackson, freshman, son of Rachel Jackson of Front Royal and Terry Jackson of St. Thomas VI.
