Heritage Association

The Strasburg Heritage Association will hold its annual membership meeting and program at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

The guest speaker will be Mike Kehoe, president of the Northern Shenandoah chapter of the Archeology Society of Virginia, who will discuss “Two Eras, Both Gone: Archeology in Shenandoah County in the 1960s.” The program will consist of a slide show and interpretation of archeology projects found in an old scrapbook from the 1960s and 1970s.

Family Promise

Family Promise of Shenandoah County will hold a Celebration of Gratitude from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Antioch Church of the Brethren in Woodstock.

Activities celebrating its third anniversary include music, updates, future vision of the program, recognitions and light refreshments.
