Bowman Library in Stephens City will accept gently-used books DVDs, CDs, sheet music and video games from 9 a.m. to non Saturday for its spring book sale.

Handley Library in Winchester will host a unique petting zoo with instruments rather than animals from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday for ages 2 through fifth grade.

Fairview United Methodist Church in Stephens City will hold a pancake dinner from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday. A free-will offering will be accepted.

Table tennis tournament Concern Hotline and GearClean Inc. will host its annual full contact ping-pong table tennis tournament at 1 p.m. Saturday at Escutcheon Brewery, 142 W. Commercial St., Winchester.

This will be a flighted, double-elimination tournament. Every entry will play at least two matches. The entry fee to participate is $30. There will also be cash prizes and a silent auction. Admission is free, although a good-will donation will be accepted.
