JustBirth

Bowman Library in Stephens City will host a meeting of JustBirth from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday to share information about birthing options in the community. Information: 540-869-9000.

Lions Club

The Stephens City Lions Club will hold a Valentine’s dinner at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church. Tickets are $10 per person. Reservations: Carol Treece at 540-869-5580.

Radio club

Randolph-Macon Academy’s Amateur Radio Club will participate in the Winter School Club Roundup Monday through Feb. 15.

The roundup, for clubs and individuals, especially those associated with elementary, middle, junior high, high schools or colleges, will give young people experience with on-air activity in a contest-like format by exchanging QSO information with other amateur radio stations. Each school club will be on-air during the week. Non-school clubs and individuals are also encouraged to participate.

Jack Margaros, of Berryville, was named to the dean’s list at Springfield College for the fall semester. He is studying communication/sports journalism.
