Warren County taxpayers can file appeals regarding a recent housing reassessment through today. A copy of the appeal application can be found at warrencountyva.net/2019-general-reassessment.
The appeals will be heard by the Warren County Board of Equalization with hearings slated to begin Friday.
The Film Studio at Shenandoah University is seeking young filmmakers in high school and college to participate in its Virginia Emerging Filmmakers Festival. The festival will be held April 12-14 at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Kernstown.
Submitted films must be 15 minutes or less. Film categories include animation, comedy/drama, horror, documentary and music video. The early bird submission fee is $3 by Friday or $5 from March 2 through March 31. Filmmakers will compete for more than $1,500 in prizes.
