Addiction recovery

SMART Recovery, an international nonprofit administered by volunteers, holds meetings at noon on Mondays and 7 p.m. Wednesdays at Northwestern Community Services, 1014 Amherst St., Room 204, Winchester.

Parks/Rec

Shenandoah County Parks and Recreation will offer the following activities for seniors 55 and older:

• Walk 15 fitness class: 10-11 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Feb. 19, six weeks, at the Historical Courthouse in Woodstock. Walking-based moves to fit all fitness levels. Cost is $65. Registration deadline is Tuesday.

• Beginner crochet class: 2-4 p.m., Thursdays starting Feb. 28, six weeks, at the County Government Center in Woodstock. The cost is $46 and includes some supplies. Registration deadline is Thursday.

Traveling exhibit

Shenandoah County Library in Edinburg is hosting the traveling exhibit “Strong Men and Women in Virginia History” through March 2.

Quilt Guild
